Cosi’
a meditare sull’Himalaya lasciando
che si scannino loro, per il petrolio. Words & Music ® F Carosone 2006 |
Candies
The Korg
Wavestation was the first keyboard to implement wave-sequencing as a way to
program evolving sounds. An example is the synth part behind “maestre delle elementari..”,
which I report here. In the second part of this sample I play and hold a
single note, see what happens: Being a all-in-one musician, I always like when other musicians
like to cohoperate in the songs (listen, web-musicians, listen!). Here is the
trio of voice- low voice (left) – high voice (right) from Flavia Capodicasa
in the second refrain. The high voice was created in Melodyne. I like the low
voice part so much: Also Massimo Guadagnoli makes the song shine with his trumpet
improvisation. He played throughout the song, vocals removed, 3-4 times and
then we took the best bits. Here is a hidden part, very low in the mix, that
I bring to the surface for you to recognize: I wish to thank Massimo, he really
taught me what a trumpet is in real! |

Software box
No free software was used for the song;
the acoustic bass multisample comes from a Computer Music Magazine DVD. The snare in the electric battery comes
from DoruMalaia, 50 sustitutes for a snare, a free web resource. As a commercial software ad, the sax solo
is a demonstration of what I could do with just the Ueberschall Liquid
Saxophone demo in a couple of hours. Buy it if you like it and wish to create
sax parts, I consider it a great soft. |
